ZhenFund is a seed fund founded by Xu Xiaoping (Bob) and Wang Qiang (Victor), co-founders of New Oriental Education & Technology Group (NYSE: EDU), along with Sequoia Capital China.
Xu Xiaoping and Wang Qiang are pioneers of the angel investment community in China, having invested in nearly 80 companies between 2006 and 2011. ZhenFund began its collaboration with Sequoia Capital China in 2011 and has invested in nearly 100 companies together since 2011.
ZhenFund focuses on seed stage investments in TMT sectors such as the internet of things, mobile, gaming, enterprise, O2O, e-commerce as well as education. Some of our companies include Jiayuan (Nasdaq: DATE), Lightinthebox (Nasdaq: LITB), Jumei (NYSE: JMEI), 17zuoye, Meilele, Zhaogang, Dayima, and 51talk.
